Herbal Wedding

Incorporating herbs can be such a "fresh" and inexpensive way to add texture to your wedding. Here are a few ways to use them outside of your garden.

This bouquet has Ornamental oregano, lavender, rosemary, white kale, lavender hyacinth, flowering onions, white sweet pea, scented geranium, blue scabiosa, star of Bethlehem, and honey myrtle wrapped in ivory lace and a string of vintage pearls.

This next one could be a fun if you had the table number attached to it.

loose tea is a great favor. Make your own loose tea or find it online.

This one is fantastic. It's SO simple but makes such a great statement. Use it at home, weddings, or corporate events. They are Terra Cotta pots spray painted silver. LOVE it!

A look down the Aisle

Wedding aisles tend to be boring and not very creative. I get it,  why spend a lot of money for something that your guest are only going to to see for a short amount of time. But, if you have the means and funds to decorate the aisle then DO IT! It is where a majority of your pictures will be taken and the first thing your guest get to see.
Here are some fun ideas that change up the Traditional "aisle" that really make a bold statement without having to spend a lot of money.
This next one is SO fun. I love the bold statement of the one color...but have NO clue how they got the tulips to stick into the ground AND stay.

You can see in this next starfish one that they made a boarder with small seashells. Awesome because you wouldn't have to clean up!!

I love this next one...1. Because it's easy, cheap, and you can add an array of colors. 2. Because I do not like it when anyone other than the wedding party walks down the aisle. (It's pretty "do not enter" tape!)

Lanterns...enough said!

These stump logs would also look great for a winter wedding. Indoors or out!

Potted Orchids Centerpieces

I have been seeing a lot of potted orchids lately and I LOVE it! I love the elegance and simplicity of orchids anyway, it seems like such a perfect match. Not to mention how cheap you could build this look.

You can pick up a variety of different types of orchids at good ol' Trader Joes for less than $15! (I know this because I continue to buy them and am okay if I accidentally kill them because they are so inexpensive.

Here are a few different looks. You can very easily add to them to build up a centerpiece as well as add height which is ALWAYS a good idea when decorating.
This has the look of a potted orchid but is just stems in pots. I do love the paper wrapped container.

I love how clean it looks and how many textures they used.
this is a very tonal table but works well together.

Added tea lights and single orchids make a full centerpiece.

Tulips!!!

While picking myself up some fuchsia tulips today I came to realize (again) how much I LOVE tulips and how I am going to need to plan a spring wedding so that I can they can surround me.

So delicate, so simple, and they're SO cheap!

Balloons at a Wedding

This balloon thing is really starting to grow on me...I first fell in love with it when I saw this photo.

Check out the whole wedding HERE...totally awesome!!

Then I was going through Style Me Pretty and saw these photos. If you do it right I think it makes quite the statement and is cheap!!
It sure beats this look...don't you think?

This past weekend I went to the coolest flea market with a my girlfriend Nikki over at Que sera sera & Perpetually Engaged (yeah, she has 2 blogs...crazy!), she never fails to keep me entertained!

I found a TON of stuff and only bought a cookie! But, I did see this weird miniature table and thought what an amazing cake stand it would make!

$20 for the little table. STEAL of a DEAL!
The flea market is called "2nd Saturdayz", you can check out their blog here. Definatly a fun way to spend a Saturday morning!

Mark it on the Calendar

Many of you may know that I have about 7 different weddings of my own that are all planned out. They all have different locations, themes, and price points. I am just waiting on one particular person to make this all happen....(poor guy!)

My ideas come and go for all of theses weddings as there are not enough folders on my computer to keep up with all the great ideas I come across. Lets face it, I know I am going to find something else that I love just as much. However, I do have "the wedding" folder saved that has my dream ring, dream dress, and now this...
A calendar sewn into the wedding dress with the date of the marriage! How cleaver!
